Terms and Conditions

  1. This trial will commence on 25 September 2014 and will involve students of Tanah Merah Prison (TMP), their family members and friends, and TMP staff.
  2. The account of the TMP student must first be activated by a nominated next-of-kin (NOK) using the registration code provided in the official letter.
  3. The nominated NOK is given priority to the activate the account using the registration code to register. The nominated NOK should not share the registration code with others.
  4. The TMP student will be allowed up to a maximum of 5 registered senders under his account. This is on a first-come-first-serve basis after the initial activation.
  5. Each registered sender can send no more than one e-Letter per day.
  6. The TMP student will be allowed to send 2 outgoing e-Letters per month, in addition to the 2 hardcopy letters every month.
  7. The account will be disabled 1 month after the TMP students is released or transferred out of TMP or when the trial ends.
  8. You are advised to print out the e-letters before your account is disabled.
  9. This trial will cease on 7 December 2014.
  10. The authority reserves the right to make any necessary changes during this trial period.
